Sacramento Valley Historical Railways The Sacramento Valley Historical Railways is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the railroad history of the Sacramento Valley.

SVHR operates a museum in the Woodland Train Depot built by the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1911. Sacramento Valley Historical Railways is a fellowship of volunteers who are dedicated to community service and education through the preservation and operation of historic railroad equipment and structures in the Sacramento Valley. Visit us from 8 am to 12 pm every Wednesday and the first Saturday of the month.

Well...We tried to get that semaphore in place today. It said..."Not today!" Thanks to the hard work of our neighbors the Guardian workers it just wouldn't happen today! They spent over 3 hours. We will get it on there soon.
