Many thanks to Todd Jakubec & Lakes Region Darts for putting on a super-fun & well-attended dart tournament at the Hobbs Tavern Hayloft this past Saturday.

They visited us this afternoon to donate the proceeds from the tournament to our furry friends in need at the Lakes Region Humane Society

Tavern Players Magazine will be doing an article in the next issue about our tournament this past weekend. If you want to get the magazine, go to Tavern Players magazine’s page and message them your name and address. It is a free magazine with some great reading on local restaurants and its tavern sports.

They will need your information by Thursday as it is going to print soon.

Before I get to the results from yesterday’s charity event for the Lakes Region Humane Society, I want to thank everyone that came out (players and spectators). I would guess we had around 90 people in attendance at one time. We were not expecting a turnout like this. We were able to raise $1,898. Thank you to our hosts The Hayloft at Hobbs Tavern. Rob (owner) was very helpful in supporting the event and your staff was amazing the day of the event. A very special thank you to Ron at Tavern Players Magazine and securing Drink Surfside as one of our sponsors. Ron will be doing a small write up about our charity event in the upcoming issue.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the turnout we had today and the support for the Lakes Region Humane Society. We had a lot more people than expected and appreciated everyone’s patience going through the brackets. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post (Sunday) on the winners and some pictures. It was a long day running the event and ready for bed.
