It always takes me a cpl days to pick up the pieces and start to put things back together, ans I also need some space in my head to really grasp the severity of what just took place. What we were able to accomplish and put on, with that said...
They say it takes a village, but it's even bigger than that, it's the Army behind us that drives us and fuels us!!!
This event has created fulll-blown traveling circus family 😂 with radios, golf carts, zip ties, caffeine, sunburns, wet socks, and approximately 53 - Hey just a “quick questions” every hour.
To this crew right here:
THANK YOU!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!
Some of you drove hours to be here. Some burned vacation days. Some left behind your families, your kids, your businesses, your weekends, your beds, and your sanity for a few days to help make this event happen. Some of you came as family. Some came as friends. And somewhere between setup chaos, late-night laughs and “where the hell is the post pounder?” you became family too.
You worked long hours fueled by energy drinks, cold sammies, and pure stubbornness.
You answered the same question 900 times with a smile that slowly faded by Saturday afternoon.
What people see at AutoCommotion is the shiny part: the cars, the crowds, the music, the atmosphere.
What they don’t always see is the army behind it. The people picking up trash after every soul is gone, parking cars in the blazing sun. Hauling equipment. Solving problems before anyone even notices there was one.
That’s the magic of this TEAM!!
Events like this don’t run on ticket sales or social media hype. They run on people willing to show up for each other.
So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this event, sacrificing your time, and giving every ounce you had to make this weekend what it was. AutoCommotion would not exist without you.
Ken & Anne
I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!
