Don’t forget, the Snowball is coming up! Do you have your tickets? One of our sister programs needs some help! Museum In The Streets had three signs critically damaged in a storm last winter. Schoonerfest is teaming up with them to help raise fund to buy new ones. Come dance, eat, sit and have a great time all for a good cause. Jan 31st, from 6-10! Wear your best Maine attire, what that means is up to you. It’s going to be a fun evening for all and will help out such a critical program. We have many many visitors come from all over to our little village and this self guided home history tour is truly a highlight. Link to tickets is in the bio!

Giving Tuesday is here and we are excited to highlight not only ourselves, but our sister program- Wiscasset Museum in the Streets.
We are two community forward programs based here in Wiscasset, Maine.

Wiscasset Museum in the Streets brings our local history alive with 32 panels around the Wiscasset Village. This program allows history accessibility to all! We are proud to see school groups, rec programs, locals and tourist alike using our paper maps to navigate this rich historical journey. Your donation will help us replace panels, ongoing printing of our maps and continued growth of our programming.

Wiscasset Wormfest brings our community together while preserving our unique heritage and history. Wormfest pulls together a day focused on being present and part of the community. With a long list of free to the community things such as: carnival games with prizes, music, street entertainment, touch tanks, meals for kids 18 and under, and a history museum. We also give a platform for organizations and businesses alike to highlight themselves in our beautiful little town. A forever expanding history museum on the Marine Worm Digging industry is the heart of all pf this. As a volunteer-based organization we feel giving back is important and that is why we give WMHS seniors with the top volunteer hours scholarship-awards every year. It takes a village to celebrate a village!

The Mermaid from the Sarah Mead has donated this amazing tugboat created out of reclaimed wood. This will be up for auction today at 5:45 at Schoonerfest! Her details are on the second photo in case anyone misses out on the auction. You can contact her directly to purchase another one or have one custom-made just for you. Come on down!!

These two are ready for Schoonerfest today! 12-8, free bands all day long, food, drink, free kids games, tours of some beautiful ships and fireworks! Plus an auction of Schooners painted by some of our best artists in town. Come down to the pier and join the fun!!!
