COME TO THE TABLE @ BACK TO EDEN

The Greenhouse is partnering with the nationwide Come To The Table movement to host the third annual Back to Eden Festival on September 25-26 in Farmville, NC!

Back to Eden will feature Christian homesteading classes, a non-stop worship tent, and local vendors all day Friday and Saturday. On Saturday at 5pm, Matthew & Shepard Lilley will host a special communion service followed by a community-wide meal at 6pm. This will be the finale of the entire Back to Eden 2026 festival.

Come to the table! Pack a picnic dinner and fellowship with others after worship. We also suggest bringing a picnic blanket or chair.

The festival will be on the grounds of Farmville Methodist Church, 4588 W Church St. Farmville, NC 27828.

Want to homeschool but unsure where to start? Shepard has the answers.

Shepard Lilley of The Greenhouse has been microhomesteading since 2011, raising as much food and life as possible on as little as a quarter-acre lot. She's also the organizer of Back To Eden homesteading event in Winterville, NC.

Shepard is a homeschool mom of four (ages 11–16) and an avid gardener, forager, cook, amateur herbalist, musician, and teacher. Her passion is helping families see that a homesteading lifestyle is possible almost anywhere with creativity, planning, and a willingness to learn.

She will be teaching:

- Microhomesteading
- Homeschooling While Homesteading
- Homeschooling: Where to Start & How to Begin with Confidence
- Meal Planning Seasonally

If you’re trying to grow more food, raise a family with intention, and make the most of the land you have, Shepard’s classes will give you practical ideas you can start using right away.
