Good afternoon everyone! Still looking to find somewhere to move this rendezvous to, I'm glad that y'all have decided to stay on this page. It's been a while since I've posted, and I apologize. But in the meantime, in gonna start posting other rendezvous that are being held in the area. First one, I can't make it to next weekend, I'll be at a Scout event. But it's the Galesburg Heritage Days , it's still going to happen this year, even though there's some confusion with some information that's going out due to some algorithms bring messed up. It is still being held, next weekend, in Galesburg, IL. Flyer to follow! If you can make it over, it's a great event, I'm just said that I can't make it this year. More things to follow, to keep this page running, at least a few posts a week, I promise. Have a great weekend!

Well everyone, another Covered Bridge Festival is here this weekend, and we still haven't found a new site to hold it at. We've been thinking about different sites in Madison County, and we're gonna be looking into them. If anyone knows of a potential place to hold the rendezvous at, we're all ears!

We do want to keep in Madison County. We also want to hold it away from Covered Bridge Festival weekend, it can be in the spring or fall, or both. Put your thinking caps on, and let us know! Enjoy the festival this weekend.

I'm sorry to say this, but the director at the museum and the committee voted us out supposedly back in March, no notice, supposedly sent me emails, don't see them anywhere, I keep emails that are important like that until after the event. So no, I didn't receive anything. They director said that there isn't enough interest since we had a tough event last year. It rained all day, and it became extremely cold in the evening.

So, there it is, we're done for now. If there is enough interest in the future for me to try and find another spot in Winterset, or near by, we'll

Good evening! What's everyone doing in this rainy Tuesday evening? Everyone that went to Steamboat Rock survive? I know it was a rainy, muddy time, and I only walked through, well, I mean, sloped through, LOL. I almost lost my shoes twice!

Well, as for the Covered Bridge Rendezvous, it's always the second weekend of October! This year, it's the 12th - 14th, and we would love to see y'all there! Wasn't sure if it was going to happen at first due to some health issues, but it is on! This year we're at a different spot on the historical complex, we'll be set up directly across from the museum entrance! Should be a great time! A flier will be out shortly, a little late, but we hope to see everyone there!

Good afternoon everyone! It's that time again to start planning for the Covered Bridge Rendezvous 2018! It's always the second full weekend of October. This year, it'll be October 12 - 14, and we're moving the location to the area directly across from the museum entrance on the Hill! It's a little more level than what we had behind the church. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year! 😀

I'd like to wish everyone a very safe and Happy New Year. May the blessings be many! Look for information for Covered ...

Good afternoon everyone, we're almost two weeks away from the Covered Bridge Festival, and the Covered Bridge Rendezvous, that is held in conjunction with the History on the Hill event at the Madison County Historical Complex. We hope that everyone has seen or heard of the event by now! If you have, please pass it on to your friends and families to let them know that it's another fun event added to the Fun on the Hill!------So, who's all coming to the rendezvous? 🤔😀

06/26/2017

The Rendezvous will be between and around the church and the school at the Historical Complex. Like we posted before, we will have White Hawk Traders here, who will be set up and selling their goods. Plus, if you ever tried fry bread before, or an Indian Taco, you know how good it is! Two Rivers Fry Bread Kitchen will be here to demonstrate how it's made, and will have some for purchase, for you to try! There will also be other demonstrations and story telling of the area. It will be a fun event for everyone! So, come on out and join us!
