Come to beautiful, historic Madison County, Iowa for this much-loved celebration of our heritage and history! Enjoy covered bridge tours, food, live music, old-time demonstrations, parade, car show, wine tastings, crafters,....and much, much more! Tickets are only available at the gates on the day of the festival - just $2 per person (and children under 11 years old are free)!

Thank you to EVERYONE who made this year's Covered Bridge Festival such an amazing time - from staff and hundreds of volunteers to local businesses and vendors to our guests. Here we go! The Madison County Covered Bridge Festival goes until 7 pm tonight around the Winterset courthouse square and beyond! Admission is just $3 or two for $5 at any of the gates around the square. We hope to see you here!

We know that it can be difficult at times to find parking around the neighborhood close to the Festival. Did you know that we offer two free shuttles with plenty of parking offsite to make it a painless experience? There is an ADA compliant bus that picks up at the Re*****on Seeds parking lot on 10th Street and Buchanan, and a school bus shuttle that picks up at the Madison County Fairgrounds on Summit Avenue. Both run on Saturday from 9 am to 7:30 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 4:30 pm, every 20-30 minutes.
