The Guitar Parlor is a concert event held quarterly that showcases outstanding instrumental guitarists in Polk County.

Classical, Acoustic Jazz, New Age Acoustic, Bluegrass & Folk musicians come together and perform in an intimate listening environment.

Although this is a free concert for the community we are responsible for a fee to use the facility. We kindly ask if anyone can donate at the performance to offset this cost it would be greatly appreciated. We hope to see you next week in The GhostLight Lounge at Theatre Winter Haven.

Coming Tuesday August 12th will be another concert in The Guitar Parlor. These concerts are held in The GhostLight Lounge at Theatre Winter Haven from 7-9 PM. The concerts feature local instrumental acoustic guitarists performing solo or duo, (or sometimes in larger groups) in the intimate setting of a listening room. Every concert is unique and they are wonderful. I hope to see you there!!!

Dear friends of The Guitar Parlor...

I am very pleased to inform you that The Guitar Parlor will be continuing very soon. Theatre Winter Haven has agreed to keep hosting the event in The GhostLight Lounge. Thank you for all the great suggestions it was nice to know so many people value The Guitar Parlor and cared about its future. It looks like we will be hosting the next concert soon. Stay Tuned!!!

Dear friends of The Guitar Parlor…

Unfortunately, due to changes at Theatre Winter Haven The Guitar Parlor will no longer be able to meet in The GhostLight Lounge. We have had a wonderful 3 years and I am very proud of the work we have done to help support instrumental acoustic guitar music in our community.

Moving forward I am not sure what my next step will be but rest assured that my intention is to find a way to keep The Guitar Parlor going. Please stay tuned for details and thanks again for all the support.

This coming Tuesday January 21st 7-9 PM will be our next concert in The Guitar Parlor. This concert will feature...

Marcus Brixa, Dick Prince, Robert Philips, Joe Gavin, and Larry (Bunky) Jackson with Brandon McDuffie!!!

We'll have acoustic jazz, classical, new age acoustic, and bluegrass. It will be a great concert and we hope to see you there!!!

The first concert of 2025 for The Guitar Parlor has been scheduled for Tuesday January 21st from 7-9 PM.

The Guitar Parlor is a wonderful, relaxed, intimate concert experience that features several local instrumental guitarists performing in The GhostLight Lounge at Theatre Winter Haven. 2025 marks the 4th of anniversary of this great concert series and we plan to have 4 performances over the coarse of 2025. The concerts are held quarterly and are FREE!!!
