Here Ye! Hear Ye! Let the swordfighting begin! We are pleased to welcome The Sword Conservatory to the Robin Hood Festival. These knights will provide demonstrations throughout the day and are available to take on any up-and-comer for a foam sword duel! Welcome!

The Sword Conservatory has researched swordfighting styles throughout the ages and teaches these techniques to students in various settings. The Robin Hood Festival is pleased to announce the participation of Mr. Marty Northrup to lead our Square Dancing on October 17th. There will be two sessions -- both open to beginners -- from 1:00 - 2:00, and from 3:00 - 4:00. Make plans now to join the fun. No experience required!

There are, of course, many other things to do and see at the Robin Hood Festival. Come for the square dancing and stay for the great food, drink, music and other activities.

The Robinhood/Sherwood Forest neighborhood of Winston Salem, where the Robin Hood Festival is held, is a pleasant, tree-lined community featuring street names based on characters from the Robin Hood legend, as well as place names from 12th century England.
