We are so excited to share our 18th Summer Festival with you, MIGRATIONS: Musical Movements!

Music is among the most powerful expressions of cultural identity. Distinct tones, rhythms, and philosophies color musical traditions around our world. Equally compelling are the new musical languages that emerge when ideas cross borders and oceans to take root in new soil. Our 2026 summer festival, Migrations, will celebrate the journeys and musical conversations that are born from movement!

Festival Passes are on sale now! Stay tuned for more information regarding artists and programming! www.lccmf.org

Our Artistic Directors, pianist Gloria Chien and Soovin Kim, violinist, are two of the most sought-after musicians, educators, and administrators in classical music. Among their many plaudits, Gloria and Soovin were the recipients of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Centerโ€™s Award for Extraordinary Service in 2021. We are so fortunate to have their vision, passion, warmth, and artistic integrity guiding our festival!

Gloria and Soovin extend to you the most heartfelt invitation to join us as we begin our 17th Festival this Saturday and embark on an incredible journey through the works of Mozart and the other composers he inspired.

For more than two decades, violist Nicholas Cords has been on the front line of a unique constellation of projects as performer, educator, and cultural advocate, with a signature passion for the cross-section between the long tradition of classical music and the wide range of music being created today. He is a founding member of Brooklyn Rider and the former violist of Yo-Yo Ma's Silkroad Ensemble.

We can't wait for to make his LCCMF debut! He will be with us throughout the entire festival, giving audiences ample opportunities to not only hear him perform, but also as a guest lecturer in masterclasses for students and the Young Artist Quartet.
