Egg Days is only THREE (3) Saturdays from today!!!! The committee will be meeting June 2, 9, and 16, in the Winlock United Methodist Church at 6:30 pm -
Deadlines to meet:
- PARADE: June 13th Parade entry deadline if you want a chance to receive a trophy!
- VENDOR: get us your application BEFORE June 1st or there is an additional fee of $10.

So, which "Egg Day" date should we celebrate? The original celebration was in 1921. From what we can tell by newspaper accounts the celebration kind of "frizzled" out for a time, possibly due to a lack of volunteers (hint, hint), but was rehatched in 1937!!! Local non-profit organizations and business volunteers added souvenir buttons (pins), royalty, and free egg salad sandwiches to the historical parade! So, if you count from 1921 it's our 101st (minus the 4 years it was postponed for WWII) or from 1937 it's our 85th... comments?
