As we prepare for the Union Horse Expo, our hearts are with the NBHA community, Hailey & Sully, Arielle & Detail, Keira & Rocket, and all those affected by recent events. This serves as a sobering reminder of why strict professional standards are not just paperwork — they are the foundation of our industry’s integrity.

At both Wildflower & UHE, our philosophy is simple: We support the horse first, and the industry second.

To ensure the safety of our livestock, clinicians, and guests, we are re-sharing our Updated Event Policies & Terms of Entry. These are strictly enforced to maintain a professional, safe environment for all.

Key Safety Highlights:

• Restricted Access: Our trailer staging area and arena entrance are located at the rear of the facility. Entry to these zones is strictly prohibited without an official event wristband.
• Animal Welfare: The drugging or chemical sedation of horses is strictly prohibited. Any animal suspected of being under the influence will be barred from participation immediately.
• Zero Tolerance: ALL WEAPONS including fi****ms (excluding LEO & pre-approved performances), live ammunition, and alcohol are strictly prohibited on the grounds.
Boundaries: For the safety of the public and the horses, livestock are strictly prohibited within the Public Aisles and Vendor Spaces.

We are committed to keeping the Union Horse Expo a premier event for equine excellence. We appreciate our horsemen, vendors, and community for helping us uphold these standards.

The Union Horse Expo returns this fall with a very special mission.

This September, we gather for our inaugural fall edition: Leaves, Lattes, and Leather. While we are here to celebrate our equestrian community, this year carries a deeper purpose as we bridge the gap between the arena and the heart of Union County.

We are honored to welcome home Jacquelyn Dickey, a Parkwood High School Alumna traveling from Maryland to Cross Creek Arena on September 19, 2026. Jacquelyn joins us to share a powerful message of hope and remembrance.

Austin’s Dash and A Mother’s Mission
In April 2025, Jacquelyn lost her son, Austin, to su***de. To honor his legacy as a gifted photographer and adventurer, she has dedicated her riding and writing to breaking the silence:

The Dash: Jacquelyn’s book ensuring Austin is defined by the beauty he captured, not by how his life ended.

New Release (Sept. 2026): A second book following Austin’s friends as they travel the globe to spread his ashes in the breathtaking places he once photographed.

Updated Event Policies & Terms of Entry
To our community, vendors, and horsemen:

As Wildflower Collective Group LLC (WCG LLC) prepares for The Union Horse Expo, our priority is a safe and professional environment for our small businesses, guests, and livestock.

By attending or participating in this event, all vendors, participants, and guests agree to the following Terms of Entry:

WEAPONS & SUBSTANCE POLICY
FI****MS: This is a weapons-free event. Fi****ms are strictly prohibited on the grounds, with the only exceptions being:

Active-duty sworn Law Enforcement Officers.

Pre-approved performers during sanctioned demonstrations (utilizing blanks only).

AMMO: Live ammunition is strictly prohibited (excluding Law Enforcement duty weapons).

DRY EVENT: Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited. WCG LLC Management reserves the absolute authority to eject any individual in violation of this policy.

ANIMAL WELFARE & SAFETY
ANTI-DOPING: The drugging or chemical sedation of horses is strictly prohibited. Any animal suspected of being under the influence will be barred from participation.

MARKET BOUNDARIES: Livestock (including horses) are strictly prohibited within the Public Aisles and Vendor Spaces. No exceptions.

PET POLICY: We strongly recommend leaving personal pets at home. Owners are 100% liable for their animals; aggressive behavior toward humans or livestock will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

ACCESS & SECURITY
RESTRICTED ZONES: The Arena and Trailer Staging areas are restricted to authorized personnel with official event wristbands. Unauthorized individuals will be escorted out immediately.

RETAIL TRAILERS: Horse trailers for sale are permitted on a case-by-case basis and must be pre-approved.

LEGAL & LOGISTICS
RIGHT TO REFUSE: WCG LLC reserves the right to refuse entry or revoke vendor approval at its sole discretion, with or without cause.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT: Harassment or disparagement of staff, vendors, or guests will result in immediate removal.

MEDIA RELEASE: Entry constitutes consent for your likeness/booth to be used in promotional media by WCG LLC.

MODIFICATION RIGHTS: WCG LLC reserves the right to amend or modify these rules at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

If you know a small business owner out here grindin’ on their own—betting on themselves, risking their own money, time, and sanity just to keep it going without a big team or safety net—support them in a real way.

And no, it doesn’t always have to be money.

Sometimes it’s the small stuff that keeps them going:

* leave a Google review (it matters more than people think)
* eat at their place or shop their booth without expecting a “deal” every time
* stop expecting everything to be discounted or free just because they’re small
* share their business in Facebook groups, Nextdoor, Reddit, or at local events
* like, comment, share, or tag them when you see their posts

Small businesses don’t survive off big moments. They survive off small support, over and over again.
