Navajo Nation Fair “To preserve & promote pride in the Navajo heritage and culture for the benefit of the Navajo Nation"

The Navajo Nation Fair was established in 1938 to stimulate livestock improvements and management through exhibits for the Navajo people. The Navajo Nation Fair has become a world-renowned event that showcases Navajo Agriculture, Fine Arts and Crafts, with the promotion and preservation of the Navajo heritage by providing cultural entertainment. n Fair and Rodeo within the Southwest United States, with a daily average attendance of 15,000 visitors. The Navajo Nation Fair starts each year after the Labor Day weekend and ending on the following Sunday. The Navajo Nation Fair consists of 25 coordinated events that extend over the seven days. The Navajo Nation Fair is a non-profit organization that is structurally established under the Navajo Nation and Federal codes as a 501-C3 entity.

We extend our congratulations to Ms. Danielle Lowman, who served as the Grand Marshal of the 77th Annual Navajo Nation Fair. Her exceptional performance during the weekend, which included winning the Breakaway event, Women's Team Roping, and achieving the highest overall High Money Winning All Around Trailer, sponsored by Navajo Nation Oil and Gas Company.

The Navajo Nation Fair holds deep historical significance, rooted in generations of tradition. Established as a time to celebrate livelihood, harvest, and accomplishments, both great and small, the Fair continues to serve as a gathering of kinship, unity, and cultural pride for the Navajo people. Happy 77th Anniversary!
