We are disappointed to report that the UCI World Cup of Mountain Bike Racing will not be making a stop at Windham in 2017. Be reassured that we submitted a very competitive bid and that the courses, hospitality, and amenities of Windham are very important and appreciated by UCI. Unfortunately, next year’s schedule will not allow for a stop in the USA. We remain hopeful that the World Cup will return to Windham in 2018.

Meanwhile, we still have great world-class mountain bike racing taking place in Windham this summer (come and check out USA Cycling’s Pro GRT and Pro XCT on August 13-14) and our Mountain Bike Park is already open for anyone who loves to ride…or wants to learn how to!

2016 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano was in Fort William, Scotland for the third round DOWNHILL.

UCI World Champion Rachel Atherton (GBR, Trek Factory Racing DH) took her third straight victory of the season for the Women and Greg Minnaar took the win for the Men and now holds the record for Men's UCI World Cup downhill victories (19).

On a sad note, Fort Bill was the first time that the downhill community was together to pay tribute to the passing of Canadian favorite Stevie “The Chainsaw” Smith. To donate to the Stevie Smith Legacy Fund, please visit: https://www.gofundme.com/23k7fus
