HCS BLACK TOP Series

🚨We are sorry to announce that this weekends event, along with any future dates, have been canceled/postponed.

We appreciate everyone's patience and loyalty to HCS BlackTop series thus far!

For starters, the weather has not been kind to any series this year. This, in turn, has caused us to only be able to complete 1 event in 2024. Due to conflicting schedules, along with even more rain, we have been unable to provide the quality experience we had planned for.

Josh started a new job 3-4 months ago, knowing that some weekends, he may have to work . He just received his weekend assignments thru the end of the year, and unfortunately, this weekend and the next race date, he is assigned to work. The short notice is not a normal occurrence , but things just worked out that way this time.

With that being said. We can either award champions based on results from the 1 race at Ambassador or continue to search for dates to complete the season throughout the winter.

Please let us know which you would prefer so that we can plan accordingly and attempt to satisfy the majority in what they would like to see happen.

Our deepest apologies to all of our racers at this time.

It's been a crazy year for rain!!

With the fall closing in we 🙏 for better weather!!

September 21st at South Florida Karting, Inc. will be the place to be for round 2 and 3 of the Black Top Series Double Features!!

Yep technically anyone can still be in the running for the points championship so if you missed round one No problem your still in just be at South Florida Karting in Hobe Sound Florida September 21st !!!!

**Update 7/19 Dirt Race is now canceled **

We have encountered the most inopertune weather forecast so far this season.

With that being said, we have made the decision to postpone this weekend's event.

This decision was not made lightly, but with forecasted 80% chance of thunder storms in the morning afternoon and night (yesterday showed 100%), we feel it is in the best interest of our racers to postpone our HCS event this weekend July 20th at Crossroads Motorplex.

Mr. Wade is still hoping to get in some local dirt racing, if possible, but with people having to make travel arrangements for the asphalt series, we did not want to add an unnecessary expense to those traveling from a far.

We will be working with Wade at Crossroads to reschedule this weekends event.

Our next race will be at South Florida Karting in Hobe Sound on September 21st and will be considered a double header! We will festure two points main events in one day. This will counteract some of the weather delays this season while also reducing traveling and time cost to the racer.

We know this is not going to be a popular decision, but the decision has been made early to give everyone the possibility to find an alternate weekend plan.

With the projected forecast that we have been dealt, we will postpone this weekend 6/29/24 HCS race at South Florida Karting in Hobe Sound. The weather has remained the same all week, and our personal friend that is 10 miles south of the Speedway has kept us updated daily . It has stormed/rained every day, and the same is forecasted for Saturday. Driver safety is of utmost importance, and we can not risk racing with lightning. We all know how Florida weather can be and that summer showers are common, but with all factors considered, we feel this is the best option.

We have talked with SFK, and the rain dates that are available are August 31st or September 7th. We would like you the racers to decide which will work better for you, and we will post a poll.

50 more days till we hit the Black Top at South Florida Karting, aka Hobe Sound Speedway!!!

You guys picked the Blue Ice color for June 29th trophy checks for all our Jack Pot classes. Make sure you go and pre registration online. It cost absolutely nothing to do so, no obligations, just helps us set the race order and also let's us know how many of those cool trophy checks to order !!!
