Have you been working on something creative? There’s still time to get it ready for the 2026 Wilson County Fair! 🎡✨

Arts & Crafts has something for all kinds of creative talents, including:

🖌️ Applied Arts – paintings, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, and more
🧵 Crafts – pottery, weaving, beadwork, stained glass, decoupage, leatherwork & more

A few important reminders:
✔️ Arts & crafts must be made by the exhibitor within the last 3 years and cannot have been previously exhibited at the Wilson County Fair.
✔️ An individual may enter a maximum of 3 exhibits in each category.
✔️ Paint-by-number and paint-by-dot artwork is not accepted.
✔️ Entries must be properly framed or mounted for display.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the first responders, military members, veterans, and families whose lives were forever changed.

As we mark 25 years since 9/11, the Wilson County Fair is proud to recognize those who have served our country through our Veterans Wall of Honor. This display is a meaningful way for our community to celebrate the veterans in our lives and ensure their service is remembered.

If you have a veteran you would like to honor, please consider submitting their name for the Veterans Wall of Honor at this year’s fair, September 22–26.

Prepared food entries will be judged and then auctioned on Tuesday evening, September 22 at 6:30 PM, the first night of the Fair!

💜 Proceeds from the prepared food auction will benefit the Wilson Crisis Center.

So grab your favorite family recipe, fire up the oven, or pull out those jars you've preserved this year! It's a wonderful way to show off your talents AND give back to our community.
