The UNCW Symphonic Band presents LIGHT and LIFE, a program exploring the colors, contrasts, and experiences that shape our lives. From the theatrical colors and social commentary of Kurt Weill’s Little Threepenny Music to the radiant energy of James David’s Urban Light, the program continues with UNCW faculty composer Matthew Quayle’s reflective Echoes of July and concludes with the brilliant celebration of Julie Giroux’s Carnaval!

Together, these four works illuminate life in its many forms.
