The Cape Fear Comedy Festival The Premiere Non Profit Comedy Festival in the Eastern United States

The 2020 Cape Fear Comedy Festival is a four day independently run stand-up comedy festival held from May 13th-17th in Wilmington, North Carolina. The festival will also feature multiple opportunities for comedians to network and meet other comedians participating in the festival. Each evening will conclude with a meet and greet at Dead Crow Comedy Room, Wilmington's only full-time comedy club, ju

st minutes from the scenic Cape Fear River. Workshops and agent/booker networking opportunities will be offered throughout the festival as well. The goal of the Cape Fear Comedy Festival is to provide gathering place for comics to develop their careers and enjoy themselves while taking part in a comedian friendly festival.

Maria Bamford stars in the semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy series Lady Dynamite, lauded as “revelatory” by Entertainment Weekly and one of 2016’smust-see shows by Variety and Rolling Stone. The series was created by Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development) and Pam Brady (South Park).
