CWCCA 2024 National Specialty

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We are enjoying the postings of the 2024 replacement, duplicate and special order ribbons have been received. It has really brought smiles to share again in your accomplishments. Our gratitude to you for tagging us so that we didn't miss anything.

Thanks to all of you for your patience and support. As everyone knows the ribbons, the ribbon committee chose were big and beautiful. Everything has a cost and the cost of this one is time, as we discovered. In future years please note that when they say 12 to 16 weeks, the mean 12 to 16 weeks before they will be shipped.

So be patient with next year's ribbon chairs because some things will be out of their hands.

Again thanks to all of you for a fabulous 2024!

The photographer from FastCat is behind on getting photos and galleries out, as we know. She has had a lot of events, and has had some family issues that of course takes priority.

If you are waiting for galleries that you requested, please check your spam folders too!

Saturday May 18 - The home stretch

How it works:
Each morning an announcement will be made for what the item of the day is. For example, Wednesday is logo wear day. If you have that item, stop by the raffle table and show us to receive your free raffle ticket. We will draw 2 winners at around 2 pm each day. The first winner of the day gets their choice from the prize bags available. No peeking!!! Second name drawn gets the next choice.

By this time we are all tired, crabby and short. So please share a smile with us for your raffle ticket.

Another coffee thought:

Bittersweet today is the last day of our CWCCA 2024 National Specialty. We have clocked a few steps, shared some great laughs and watched our beautiful, sassy, and totally our Cardis performing and excelling at everything they do. We have even seen a flamingo, swam with a "Baby Shark" and been saved by knights.

Today at 8am are the P*e Wees. Followed by the juniors.

Picking up numbers for BOB starts at 9am, followed by BOB

We have heard from Ingrid Pritz-Ohm that she is unable to join us this evening.

We will have a panel this evening with Jacque Glenn, Paula O'Donnell, and Cathy Ochs-Cline at 5pm in the area behind the curtains in the main ballroom. The initial topic will be choosing a stud dog. The panel will welcome any questions you have.

We will have an hour tonight, as Judges Ed will follow. Please take a minute to write any questions you have on a slip of paper and hand them to Kim Moshlak. We will do our best to get through as many questions as we have.

We hope you will join us this evening, and we apologize for the last minute substitution. You are welcome to stay for the lecture portion of Judges Ed this evening as well.
