So, what is Hope Recovery? Glad you asked!

Hope Recovery is a recovery centered church in the Devon Park neighborhood of Wilmington, NC. The building is also host to Spiritual Soul Center and several 12 step meetings and other community gatherings every week. Pastor Meg McBride has been described as a “hands in the dirt” kind of person and believes that all are welcome in the Hope Recovery space.

Hope Recovery Fest is a community event and the proceeds will benefit the musicians and Hope Recovery’s mission to aid those in recovery and those experiencing homelessness. Here’s a little bit from the Hope Recovery website:

“We are home to two faith communities that are committed to inviting the community to help us make our resources “used & useful.” We also intentionally and joyfully support the Recovery Community of the Cape Fear Region – we care about the Spiritual Recovery for ALL people. All are welcome here.

Everything that happens at our location on Winston Blvd. supports the collective journeys of healing that lead to a greater wholeness and freedom for ALL people! We seek to grow so that we are transformed and can be opened up to LOVE and SERVE each other. At Hope Recovery, we focus on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness through our various missions: The Warming Shelter, The Living Hope Downtown Day Center and our Shower Trailer.”
