Come for the music. Stay for the people. Leave with something that lasts. Introducing The Sound That Stays, a music festival rooted in the celebration of loved ones lost too soon, raising funds for music education in the local community. ​​​​

Following Max Engle’s passing in 2023, our family witnessed an outpouring of love & support from this community. We wanted to create a space where others could feel that same connection, a space where music becomes medicine, and memories fuel us. ​With a lineup rooted in folk, Americana, outlaw country, bluegrass, and blues — some of Max’s favorite sounds — The Sound That Stays is about storytelling, connection, and honoring what matters.​

Want an easier ride to & from The Sound That Stays? 🚐 🎶

It’s a full day of music, with live music all the way until 10:30 PM. We’d love to make it a little easier for everyone to settle in, enjoy the whole day, and stick around until the last note.

We’re exploring shuttle transportation to AND from Antlers On The Water and want to see if there’s interest.

When you join us for The Sound That Stays, you’re helping music make an impact beyond the stage.

You’re supporting music education in our community. You’re helping create a day where music, memories, and community come together. And you’re helping bring an incredible day of local and touring acts to Williamsport.

Last year, festival proceeds funded a full-year scholarship at Uptown Music Collective — and we’re excited to keep that impact going!
