What a day at the 2026 FHT Iron Horse Gravel Grind! 🚴♂️🔥
This year’s event brought together riders, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners for an incredible day on the gravel. We had 144 registered riders, with about 135 finishers representing four states — Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, and Washington!
The after party at the trailhead was hard to beat — tacos and nachos from Tinga Tacos, drinks from Mile 6 Taproom, beer provided by Springfield Brewing Company, and plenty of stories shared between riders and volunteers.
We’re also incredibly thankful for the partnerships that helped make the day possible:
• Missouri Off-Road Cyclists for taking over event timing
• Josh Even and Sunshine Bike shop for gravel curation
• Edward Jones for powering the Walnut Grove Aid Station
• Good Samaritan Boys Ranch for running the Wishart Aid Station
• 26 volunteers who contributed more than 200 hours to support riders and keep things rolling all day long
And of course, thank you to all our returning and new sponsors, trail neighbors, and riders who continue to support this event and the work of Ozark Greenways.
By the end of the day there were plenty of high fives, tired legs, huge smiles… and probably a few OG staff members asleep by 6:30pm. 😄
