What Makes the Wildwoods Great!

For the past eight years, we had the pleasure of working with Wildwood Crest native and Wildwood High School alumnus Matt Schiff, owner of SSER, a company that provides hundreds of basketball courts for major tournaments across the United States.

Matt never forgot his roots. He wanted to bring a premier basketball event back to his hometown. What began as a single weekend tournament in the spring of 2018 has grown into four weekends of competition each June, filling the Wildwoods Convention Center along with recreation centers and high school gyms throughout the island.

This June alone, Matt’s events featured eight days of basketball, welcomed more than 850 teams, and provided over 80 hours of competitive play, from second graders just beginning their basketball journey to college-bound high school athletes chasing their dreams.

We are proud to welcome Matt, SSER, and their outstanding basketball tournaments to the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Thanks Matt!

The Wildwoods Convention Center was honored to support “Take Your Child to Work Day” and welcomed the children out of associates in to the office.

A big shoutout to our junior associates: Liam, Stevie, Annie, and Hawkins who assisted our operations and food & beverage departments!

Our future work force in training!!
