Unfortunately, due to too few registrants at this point, we regrettably have chosen to cancel this year's Woodland Wolf Run. We sincerely appreciate everyone who showed interest and signed up. Your registration, as well as the fees, have been refunded.

We hope to be able to attempt this again next spring, so stay tuned!

We're excited to announce the revival of our successful community fitness event, the Wolf Run. This 3.2-mile course and one mile fun-run will take runners through Minisa Park, along the bank of the Little Arkansas River, under the historic Minisa Bridge, and into beautiful Oak Park.

The inaugural Wolf Run was held in 2019 in conjunction with the celebration of Woodland Health and Wellness Magnet Elementary’s 100th year of educating the children of our neighborhood. Though it was planned to be an annual event, it was sidelined by the pandemic and the many challenges that it presented to education in its aftermath.

We can’t wait to once again celebrate health and wellness with our community and our students on November 2nd!

Thanks to everyone who planned on running in the 2nd Annual Woodland Wolf Run.

Unfortunately, we have to postpone the race this year. We hope to establish a date for this spring, but are going to have to wait and see how the pandemic is trending at that point.

Worst case scenario, it will just have to be cancelled this year. And if that is the case, we will be back and ready to run through Riverside in September of 2021!

Those who have registered should have already received a full refund.

Tomorrow is the day! Come and celebrate 100 years of Woodland memories with our staff, students, families, community partners and neighbors. Join us from 8:30 to 11:30 for our Centennial Celebration! There’s also still time to register for our Wolf Run as well (5K or 1 mile). Just show up before the race to register. Can’t wait to see you all there!
