We wanted to share an update with our community.

Following the recent house fire that impacted Cody Spencer and his family, we are heartbroken to share that Cody has since passed away due to an unrelated event.

Cody was a valued member of our team and someone who truly cared about the people around him. He took pride in creating a great experience for others, and that care did not go unnoticed.

Over the weekend, many shared how much Cody meant to them—especially his attention to detail and the way he made people feel welcome. It was clear to anyone who interacted with him that he genuinely cared.

Huge thank you to Denise Neil at the Wichita Eagle for the feature in her Dining With Denise Neil column highlighting Cloud 9 Cigar Bar & Lounge and the continued growth of the Club.

Cloud 9 may be the newest addition getting attention, but it’s just one part of what we do.

For decades, The Petroleum Club—now The Ninth Floor—has hosted private events, from weddings to holiday parties to large gatherings, and that tradition continues strong. Our full dining experience in The Petroleum Room offers something entirely its own alongside the lounge.

Private events do not require a membership to host. For regular access to Cloud 9 and The Petroleum Room, membership is required—but our Member for a Day experience is a great way to get a feel for the Club (think tour, but more):
