Special thanks to all the teams, time keeper, umps and referees!!! As well as the wonderful volunteers from Red River Optimist Club. There are so many behind the scene preparation hours, soliciting sponsors, picking up checks, finding a location and a weekend that works the best for everyone! We get fliers made, put them up all over town, news papers, radio and literally flood social media!!! We thank you all so much. Each year we learn things that work better and we put them

Winner of the Men's Division 0 at the Patsy's House Softball Tournament is team Phakeout's!! Such a wonderful bunch of people and they donated their prize money back to Patsy's House!!! Thank you all so much! Carolyn Copas Gibbs presented them their trophy. We cannot thank them enough for their participation and generosity! They exhibited the true meaning of sportsmanship and charity!! We look forward to this team coming back year after year!!

The winners of our Home Run Derby at Patsy's House Softball Tournament today were Blake Womack, first place, Ryan McDonald, second place and Chris Smoak, third place. Also pictured is Denise Roberts, Executive Director of Patsy's House. Thank you to Power House Sports from San Antonio for donating the bat, Haley Bounds for designing and providing flyers and designing and screening the winners shirt, BJD Engraving for the trophy and Ki Do for donating a massage to the winner. Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, umpires, time keepers and fans that came to support this event even in the rain!! The Home Run Derby was a new event this year in memory of Berniece Lile, she was the past director of the Softball Tournament. It is such an honor for the Red River Optimist Club to be able to put this on.
