After Hours Artwalk 1st Thursdays 5:30-9pm, April - October

Event by Downtown Development Each event will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The After Hours Artwalk, is a monthly celebration of the arts in Downtown Wichita Falls. Take a relaxing stroll and explore art studios, galleries, restaurants and shops! the Wichita Falls Farmers Market with a spotlight performance. The After Hours Art Walk will be held on the first Thursday of the month from April to October. Participating studio or gallery will be open from 5:30-9 p.m.

Q: Why does Art Walk end in October?

Art Walk is truly a community-driven event - organized and run 100% by volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to making downtown come alive with creativity each month. Because it’s such a large undertaking, we follow a seasonal schedule that runs from spring through October.

October marks the end of the Art Walk season for a few important reasons. As the holiday months begin, both our artists and volunteers turn their focus to family, festivities, and other community events. Ending the season in October allows our team the time needed to evaluate and prepare for another exciting year of Art Walks ahead.

We’re grateful for the continued support of the community and look forward to welcoming everyone back when the season starts again! 💪🏼👏🏼
