And just like that… game over.

We honestly don’t have the words to thank everyone who helped make this weekend possible. From the volunteers who worked behind the scenes, to our vendors and artists, our tournament organizers, our incredible attendees, and everyone who walked through those doors — Retro South wouldn’t exist without you.

A huge thank you to our amazing guests for spending the weekend with us:

👾 Jessica Straus
👾 Noah Fleder
👾 Simon Welch
👾 NomVirus
👾 Venomous Cosplay

And an extra-special thank you to our sponsors and supporters:

Robbie’s Retro Games — for providing over $1,500 in giveaways!
Individualism by Ivy — for the incredible hand-painted nail art giveaway!
Rise Esports — for bringing Throwback Throwdown II Turbo!
Maniac’s Mansion — for presenting our DDR tournament and supporting the event with their arcades and console games!

And to EVERYONE who bought a ticket, competed in a tournament, entered the cosplay contest, bought something from a vendor, played a game, took a photo, shared a post, or simply came out to support us…

THANK YOU. ❤️

We started Retro South because we love games, nostalgia, and bringing people together — and this weekend reminded us exactly why we do it.

We’ll see you next time, Wichita Falls.
