The Grubbs of Wichita Falls Pack the Truck contest also gave us a chance to highlight three great nonprofits doing important work in our community: The Salvation Army of Wichita Falls, River Bend Nature Center,and the $5,000 winner Brighter Days WF. 🙏

🎨🔥 MEET THE ARTIST: Areli Duran 🔥🎨
We’re proud to welcome Areli Duran - Areli Art to the 2026 LFC Mural Project, brought to you in part by American National Bank & Trust - Mortgage Division!

Areli is a Texas-based muralist and artist with nearly 30 years of experience, specializing in vibrant work that transforms everyday spaces into meaningful visual experiences. As a Latina artist, her work is deeply inspired by culture, community, faith, and the beauty found in her day to day life as a mother.

Working alongside her daughter, Areli leads a mother-daughter creative team that brings a shared passion for art and storytelling into each project. Together, they strive to create pieces that not only make spaces more beautiful but also to invite people to experience a sense of joy.
