Duckies at the Barn 🦆🏆
Our first time at the Paintball Barn did not disappoint. The vibe was friendly, the games were close-quarters and intense, and the community was nothing but welcoming.

For the Duckies, this one was special.
• Bushwack earned his patch and became official.
• A brand-new recruit laced up for his first ever paintball game — and he did it alongside the Duckies.
Beemer proved once again why she’s a force, walking away with the Most Valuable Duckie award.
• Suzy, our soon-to-be paintball tank, made her first appearance in the paintball world.

And for the first time ever — every single Duckie was there. 100% attendance. We played together, we supported each other, and we walked away as the Most Valuable Team.

It was a day of milestones, laughter, hard fights, and family.
The Barn welcomed us in — and the Duckies made it a home.

Some names are earned on the field. Others… are gifted by fate.

He came to us as Black Market — the BST king, always swapping gear, always hunting deals. But on one late ride, the bus window was open, he was busy locking in with the squad, and a bush reached inside and smacked him square in the face. That day, Black Market became Bushwack.

Bushwack has history. He’s run with teams, he’s played solo, and he found us at Action Park open play. What made him stay wasn’t just the game — it was the family.

On or off the field, he shows up. Gun down? He’s the tech to fix it. New player nervous? He’s the mentor to get them slinging paint. Squad under pressure? He sticks like glue, flexible, dependable, team-first.

Bushwack isn’t just another player. He’s an asset to the sport, a brother to the squad, and now — officially — a Duckie.

She came in just wanting to drive the bus.
But when that bus broke down?
She didn’t flinch. She picked up a marker and stepped into the fight like she’d been with us for years.

Beemer doesn’t need a pep talk. She doesn’t need babysitting.
She sees what needs done — and she does it.
Hold the line? She’s there.
Push the front bunker under fire? Already moving.
Run a mini marathon and still show up the next day to sling paint with the squad?
Yeah, that happened.

She knocked out our recruitment process faster than we could assign a callsign — and by tradition, we gave her one:
Beemer.
She drives a BMW, doesn’t use turn signals, and somehow still makes all the right moves.

On or off the field, she’s dependable, relentless, and team-first to the core.
She fits our values. She fits our fight. And now, she’s one of us.

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind for the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies. We hit the field hard at Blast Camp and Living Legends, and the team showed up in a big way.

Cosmo earned MVD at Blast Camp, stepping up as a player and bringing a strong attitude that’s been a real asset to the team this year. At Living Legends, Quiet Riot took the MVD for her work as a medic, keeping the squad in the fight when it counted most. We also handed out an honorary ducky to Sway from Mitten Tactical, who pulled off a clutch base drop on Goya with just three minutes to spare.

I had the honor of XOing Living Legends alongside Zeke, the captain of Paintball, as my commander. We faced chaos, adjusted on the fly, and led our teams through some intense battles.

It’s clear the Duckies have a special chemistry. No matter the outcome, it’s the shared experiences and camaraderie that keep us coming back, and I’m proud to stand beside this crew.

Toy Wars 2025 — A Strong Start to the Season

The Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies returned to Toy Wars at Apocalypse Paintball in Wisconsin for our second year, and we hit the ground running—literally and figuratively.

We showed up 8 strong, including two fresh recruits—Snake and Beemer—who’ve just begun our recruitment process. Both brought great energy, stayed coachable, and held their own out there. They’ve got a journey ahead, but this weekend was a solid first step.

Big Daddy earned the Most Valuable Ducky award for the event, leading from the front and doing what he always does best: pushing hard, playing smart, and keeping morale high.

We also debuted the Ducky Shield for the first time—a ridiculous idea that turned out to be way more effective (and fun) than it had any right to be.

And then there’s Rebel, our not-so-quiet mascot. Cute? Yes. Chill? Absolutely not. Rebel wrestled, ran wild, and kept the chaos level right in line with the rest of the team—fitting right into the Ducky spirit.

This wasn’t just a game—it was the kickoff of another great season with friends who’ve become family. Next up: Living Legends and Blast Camp in May. Let’s keep this momentum rolling.

🏆 A HUGE Congrats to Big Daddy—Most Valuable Ducky TWO Years in a Row! 🏆

Last night’s party was a blast! We had a great time hanging out, playing games, and prepping for next season. But the real highlight of the night was celebrating one of our own, Big Daddy, for winning the Most Valuable Ducky award for the second year in a row!

Big Daddy has truly set the bar high, both on and off the field. He’s the embodiment of what it means to live the Ducky values—whether he’s out there leading the charge or lending a hand to a teammate, his commitment never wavers. His high attendance and consistent effort to help everyone on the team haven’t gone unnoticed. Big Daddy, you’ve earned every bit of this recognition!

As we look forward to the upcoming season, it’s moments like this that remind us what the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies are all about—teamwork, dedication, and having a great time together. Thanks to everyone who made the party so awesome, and here’s to another year of crushing it on the field! 💪🐥

As we wrap up another epic season with the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies, I’m filled with pride for all that we’ve accomplished together. From fierce battles to unforgettable victories, we’ve shown what it means to play with heart, strategy, and teamwork.

Ladies and gentlemen, here’s the scoop from our recent Resident Evil scenario game. First up, Quiet Riot—absolute powerhouse. She held down the medic role like a pro, barely needed any cards, and dominated the airdrop mission. She was keeping rental players in the game like it was nothing. That’s the kind of resilience that makes a difference.

Now, let’s talk about Gatormaille, the guys who always deliver, no questions asked. They showed up where needed, got the job done, and that’s exactly the kind of reliability I respect. And the Cleveland Iron League—they owned the field. Never backed down, always in control, with sharp communication and teamwork. That’s how you elevate the game.

Major props to Zeke for putting together such an impressive game. The missions were crafted to perfection, the props were on point, and I’m excited to see what he brings next time. This is how you set the bar high.

Shoutout to Mitten Tactical—they identified those choke points and executed like pros. And Futureball deserves recognition for hosting us on a clean, well-maintained field with friendly staff and prices that make it easy to come back. The bus bomb mission? Pure excitement from start to finish.

Finally, to my team, the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies—we didn’t have numbers, but we brought heart and determination. We gave it our all, and I’m proud of every single one of you. When you have a team like this, you don’t need anything else.
