Jason Partin has never steered me wrong. When Ol’ Partin tells you to listen to something you better take heed. First it was Tim Goodin, then Bill Taylor. Now it is Jordan Lee King. At different times, Partin has screamed to the mountain top to me about his guys. Tim Goodin Music played 3 straight NSMF festivals from 2023-2025, and is still one of my favorite singer songwriters today. If it’s up to me, he will be back again one day! Bill Taylor will be making his 3rd straight appearance this October. I still remember the day Partin told me about Bill, who went on to have one of the most memorable sets in the history of NSMF in 2024!

But this post was meant to be about Jordan Lee King, who just released “King of the Bluegrass,” and I can’t get enough of it. I first saw Jordan opening for Cole Chaney at the Bell Theater in December 2024. Should’ve had him on NSMF last year, but we are making up for it this year. 10 brand new songs on this record, and I’ve had it on repeat for days. I couldn’t be more excited for Jordan Lee King to finally be playing North Springs Music Festival for the very first time on Thursday, Oct 8!

North Springs Music Festival sponsor Spotlight: The Holler at Dale Hollow

Owners Jerry JJ & Jamie Lane Jenkins have been a multiple year sponsor of our festival. If camping isn’t for you on site and you find yourself looking for camping elsewhere specifically on Dale Hollow Lake, The Holler is for you!

Cody Canada is in my top 5 modern musicians. Happy Birthday to the man! Everybody can start putting it into the universe now for a return to North Springs Music Festival in 2027?

Cody Canada celebrates a big birthday today. The 5-0.

He’s one of the most big hearted genuine people in this crazy world. He can write a song and play guitar with the best of them. But, it’s his humanity that sets him apart. One of the best in all aspects.

If any band truly embodies the spirit of “Hayfield H***ytonkin’,” it’s the boys from Silverada!

This one’s been a long time coming. They’ve sat at the top of our bucket list for years, and now they’re finally headed to the hayfield on Saturday, October 10!

Silverada has long been considered one of the best touring bands in the entire Americana scene. This year alone they’re playing legendary venues and events like Gruene Hall, Billy Bob's Texas Americana Music Association events, and The Caverns. They’ll also be making stops with our friends at Unbroken Circle Music Festival, Breakers Marina, and The Shed Smokehouse & Juke Joint before rolling into North Springs in October.

So don’t just take our word for it — catch them out on the road, then come finish the year with us in the hayfield.

And while you can see Silverada in a lot of places, you’d be hard pressed to find a more fun setting than 29 artists in a Tennessee hayfield, a fan-friendly BYOB policy, and the atmosphere that North Springs Music Festival is quickly becoming known for.
