We are a food vendor at Seedtime on the Cumberland this weekend! Seedtime is located at 91 Madison Ave in Whitesburg, KY. Come visit us there. We regret that we will not be in house. We will open next Thursday June 11th in house. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you!

This Seedtime weekend, explore Appalachian history through a special exhibit featuring the photography of William “Pictureman” Mullins.

For the first time since the 2022 flood, we’re reopening the doors of our beloved 91 Madison Avenue building and welcoming the public inside for a Saturday-only exhibit curated by the Appalshop Archive. The exhibit highlights a small selection from Mullins’ extensive photography collection.

A self-taught photographer from Eastern Kentucky, Mullins documented everyday Appalachian life from the 1930s through the early 1960s, creating a remarkable visual record of the region and its people that we are proud to house in our Archive and share with you!
