The Bing Brothers Band featuring Jake Krack will play one-hour sets at noon and 2 PM during the 20th annual Freshwater Folk Festival on September 12. The photo shows them playing hard-driving old-time string band music at Carnegie Hall about 2 weeks ago. Left to right are Mike, Dave, and Tim Bing then Tim Corbett and Jake Krack. The Bing brothers were inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame this year.

Included in the Freshwater Folk Festival will be presentations and performances at the amphitheater next to the big exhibitors' tent. For the first time in many years Wendy and Ron Perrone of the Three Rivers Avian Center will be back to the festival at the White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery with raptors in their care.
