TUESDAY
Watching regional movies from the late 1970s is a haunting experience because you get to witness the exact moment when haircuts, facial hair, and wardrobes all went completely berserk at the same time. Handlebar moustache and princely bob cut? Sure! Mustard-colored turtleneck and carpet-green tweed hunting jacket combo, worn indoors at all times? Definitely! Gangly, wendigo-like high school kids with the beards of Civil War brigadier-generals? You bet! Swashbuckling blouse, heavy wool vest, tomato-red duffel coat, chinstrap sailor beard, and enormous hair like the ethereal wings of a seraphim? Hell yeah! Totally on board!
IT'S CALLED 1978, BABY, AND IT'S THE FUTURE AND IT'S HERE AND IT'S GONNA LAST FOREVER.
The final week of REGION-SPECIFIC CASSEROLE MOVIES! There's monsters, purple lasers, Darkplace-quality acting, AND the highly-anticipated 2026 CLASH OF CASSEROLES. The glory! The passion! The elbow macaroni! Only one among you shall stand with the casserole immortals and claim the ultimate prize! 7:30pm at the Main Street Museum! Over Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6513230906.
