The Emancipendence Committee congratulates Sonica, the heart and soul of the Committee.

On August 1, 2025, Sonica R. Dixon, Esq., who is a Registered Parliamentarian, was appointed to serve as the Parliamentarian for the National Bar Association (NBA) at its Centennial Anniversay at its Convention in Chicago.

The NBA is the largest association of Black attorneys. ⚖️ This is a historic moment, as she is the first woman to serve in decades.
