Thank you to the 1,000 plus of you who braved the weather yesterday for the 8th Annual Fields of Fire Country Concert benefiting the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company. ❤️
The nor’easter created some serious challenges, and we’re honestly fortunate the event happened at all. As the rain intensified, our production team had to secure stage and artist equipment, disconnect electrical equipment, and eventually relocate our front-of-house control position as water began coming in. Without those steps, there would have been no show.
When we finally had a limited break in the weather, our production team, concert leadership, and artist management teams worked together to make the most realistic decision on how to proceed with the event. This decision had a ton of moving parts and variables outside of anyones control and was not an easy one for any of us to make. Unfortunately, that meant a shortened lineup. We know that was disappointing, and we share that disappointment.
We genuinely appreciate you attending Fields of Fire and understand your frustration. This was an incredibly challenging evening for our entire team, and while we cannot control the weather or an artist’s ability to perform in those conditions, we have learned how to better communicate with our guests during circumstances like this.
To everyone who stayed in the rain, sang along, and made the best of a very unpredictable night, thank you. Every dollar raised supports your White Marsh volunteer firefighters and EMS crews.
We’ll see you in 2027. 🔥🚒
