I also just realized there was a bit of connection between each cake.

Bridal shower cake, after marriage, often leads to a baby shower cake, which leads to the first birthday cake 😂.

Always grateful for a bit of creative control!

The best work is one where it doesn't feel like a chore!

Was it easy? No. Was it fun? Yes. Did I thoroughly enjoy myself... yes!

The theme was Fresh Prince, and as you know ( or maybe you dont), I love first birthdays!

For cakes, it's been baby showers and first birthdays for me!

This was my 6" 4 layer cake which was roughly 11" tall.

I dabbled in fondant 🫢. If you know me, then you know my relationship with fondant!

I planned everything out so I wouldn't be left having an argument with my fondant.

I was happy with the override outcome. But truthfully I have found that I work better with fondant when the weather is cold.
