"Myra was an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University and later made her home in Colorado, where she devoted herself to raising her children as a single mother, meeting life’s challenges with strength and determination, including caring for a son with muscular dystrophy. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she held many jobs over the years before retiring from Quest. In her retirement, she found great joy in returning each summer to the Fond du Lac Reservation, taking her grandchildren on memorable road trips to attend powwows and stay connected to their heritage. Above all, Myra cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her life."

"For those who knew Susan, her gift of gab will always be front of mind. But, it was her heart and compassion which set her apart. She was always thinking of those in need and went out of her way to bestow gifts to others, or a helping hand. She was a godly woman whose actions displayed faith and goodwill throughout her life. In Sue's eyes, everyone was deserving of redemption, kindness, and love."

"Mary married Patrick Dean McGhee in 1992, and they promptly moved to Cape Town, South Africa to begin her first diplomatic assignments as an A.I.D. Project Coordinator and Community Liaison Officer, assignments that lasted for two years. Mary worked at the U.S. Embassy/Consul General in Cape Town during the historic end of Apartheid and the birth of democracy in South Africa - that ushered in the Presidency of Nelson Mandela. While in Cape Town, Mary worked with, and rubbed elbows with President Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Muhammad Ali, Bo Derek, Robert Mitchum, Jeff Fahey, Danny Glover, Jesse Jackson, the family of murdered Fulbright Scholar Amy Biehl, many township women with start-up businesses, and many, many more important people. Mary always felt that this assignment was a highlight of her life."

"Solomon was a creative and free-spirited soul who found joy in music, art and the outdoors. He had a deep love for playing music and creating art. A talented musician, he played the guitar and many other instruments by ear. This gift came naturally to him, as did his ability to draw. He was passionate about rock climbing and used it as a way to escape the problems of the world and connect with others... Solomon had a passion for life and a unique ability to see others in ways that many could not. His heart was full of Love, which many felt and experienced, and he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. "

"Barry spent his 71 years on earth creating. His creative spark landed him behind a drum set in a garage band of his youth in Aurora, in front of a canvas earning his degree in Fine Arts, with a putty knife and chisel restoring old mansions in Denver’s Capitol Hill, and finally, in front of a drawing board and a Mac. His singular sense of taste (and an inability to work for anybody else) brought him to start an award-winning graphic design studio, Merten Design Group, that he ran for 38 years... While expanding Merten Design Group, Barry bought and redeveloped a historic storefront property on Denver’s South Pearl Street. He was a small business champion to his core, and was proud to rent his Pearl Street spaces to many small businesses. Over his 45+ years as a DU-area landlord, Barry cared for eight apartments and hundreds of tenants, some of whom became lifelong friends, and one became his wife!"
