The City of Wewa will no longer host the Fall Festival that is usually held on the first Saturday in October.

I sent out a group email to all the vendor email addresses that I have in my computer. This post is just in case I missed someone or you have a new email address.

The City of Wewahitchka has decided not to have the annual Fall Festival in October any more. So please if you were planning on setting up, find you another event to schedule for that 1st Saturday in October.

VENDORS CHECK EMAILS

I sent out an email to every email that I had an application for, informing that the festival was cancelled and you would get your fees returned to you. Only one email came back undeliverable and I called that vendor.

Due to all the water still standing in the park and the uncertainty of the weather forecast for this coming weekend, the city has decided to cancel the festival at Lake Alice this Saturday. I have contacted all my vendors thru either personally calling or email. I am sorry, but I rather them be safe than sorry,

I have been asked by 4 vendors so far, so I will try and nib some repeat questions in the bud.
1. As of tonight, as far as I know, yes the festival is still on go.
2.No I am not giving out spot numbers. Read the information on the 2 nd page that I asked you to read and keep.
3. Yes, even if you have been here before, you still have to check in on Friday or Saturday whichever day you come to set up, don't assume you are in the same spot.
