WOW, Wetumpka, AL! You showed out tonight, and River and Blues 2026 was one for the books!

From funk and zydeco to roots and blues, tonight’s bands absolutely blew us away! Thank you to everyone who came out, danced, sang along and helped make this free evening so special.

Events like this would not be possible without the hard work of our incredible city employees, from Public Works to our administrative staff, and especially our events specialist, volunteers and everyone who helped behind the scenes.

We are also grateful for the generosity of our Platinum Community Sponsors: Wind Creek, First Community Bank of Central Alabama, Central Access and Central Alabama Electric Cooperative. A local favorite is joining the River and Blues lineup! Rollin' In The Hay is a Birmingham-based band known for their high-energy blend of bluegrass, roots, and Southern sounds.

The group has been performing since the 1990s, has self-released multiple albums, and is listed in the Alabama Music Hall of Fame as “Music Achievers.”
