From Cajun traditions and small-town fairs to seafood festivals, music celebrations, and Mardi Gras magic — every Louisiana festival tells a unique story of heritage, pride, and community. 💜💛

We can’t wait to see how students showcase the diversity and spirit that make Louisiana unlike anywhere else! 🌎🎡🎶

We had an incredible weekend, immersing ourselves in the vibrant spirit of festival culture to bring you the most exceptional experiences on the Westbank. At the Louisiana Fairs and Festival Convention - LAFFing through the Seasons - “Gumbo Season”, the majority of our GF Board, along with our King and Queen family, gathered to celebrate and learn. Our participation in the Taste of Louisiana, where our Gumbo was a resounding success. King Poncho and his krewe were met with glowing praise from attendees. Through workshops, we gained valuable insights to navigate the complexities of festival production and forged meaningful connections. Meanwhile, our Miss Creole Gumbo made history by placing in the TOP 10 for LAFF Queen, a feat last achieved nearly 40 years ago, showcasing her exceptional ambassadorial skills and our festival is fortunate to have her representation.
