We have animal shows of many varieties for everyone to enjoy. Our one price admission includes carnival rides, animal shows, face painting, exhibits and parking. Only $10 each for all day fun. We are one of few fairs that still has Standardbred harness racing. We have lots of motor sports - some for all ages. The Essex County Fair Draft Horse Pulls is seeking a sponsor for this years show. This is a fantastic family friendly event held on Saturday August 19th. On December 5th is the Annual
Essex County Fair Board elections they will be held at 7:30pm at the Westport Town Hall if anyone is interested in becoming a board member or just volunteering their time is encouraged to come.
Everyone who has purchased a membership this year is eligible to vote.

In 2017, legislation was passed to honor our nation's first responders for their everyday service and sacrifice they put forth while protecting their communities. Now every October 28, EMS providers, dispatchers, firefighters and law enforcement officers are celebrated during National First Responders Day.
