On the eve of her birthday, Transforming America Through Interaction (“TATI”), Inc. is honoring the memory of Tatiana (Tati)
Renèe McIntosh, the 19 year old University of Florida sophomore whose car spun out of control on Florida’s Turnpike 5 years ago as she was returning to school in Gainesville after spending Spring Break with her family in South Florida. TATI, Inc. is choosing this
year to raise awareness by kicking off its first Teen Safety Awareness Campaign with a Teen Driver Safety Poster Competition this week, the National Teen Driver Safety Week.
“Teen safety is of utmost importance to our organization,” says Tanya Ragbeer, President of TATI, Inc. “Given the fact that we lost Tatiana in such a tragic way, it is only fitting that we honor her memory as such on the eve of her birthday, while hopefully, at the same time impacting the lives of many.” “In Florida where we have a very diverse community and many visitors from abroad, it is
critical that teens receive all the information they need to drive safely,” says Albert Lettman, Immediate Past President of the Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of TATI, Inc., “…and don’t text and drive!”
The poster competition is open to all teenagers within the Tri-County area, and the winning poster will be selected based on inspiring content and display of a positive message towards safe driving. For the competition rules, awards information, and entry
form, visit their website: www.taticaribbean.com The deadline to apply is December 3, 2012.
