🚨 DEEP DISH FEATURE 🚨
We are pleased to welcome our first coach for the 2021 December Deep Dish Clinic: Elyssa Hawkins!
Elyssa played high school water polo at Hinsdale Central graduating in 2014. She played club water polo for Lyons in nearby Western Springs, IL. She played as a Defender at Carthage and promises she’s improved on her shot blocking since then. Prior to being a college coach, she coached at Windy City and Lyons water polo and has a few players currently competing in the NCAA. She is currently coaching men’s and women’s water polo at Pomona-Pitzer colleges located in Claremont, CA.
On why she’s excited for the Deep Dish clinic: “There are great programs across DI, DII, and DIII that want hard working players who will commit to the team. As a coach, I know finding athletes who fit that profile aren’t just in California, but in Illinois too”.
