Supporting our honeybees and supporting our community simply go hand in hand 🤗 🐝 ❤️
It was a pleasure to share our resources and knowledge with the wonderful students at Carroll Lutheran School! 🏫
Keep up the good work everyone! 👍

It is wonderful to get support from the community! Dr. Margaret Pitrone, from PSJ Orthodontics, was kind enough to loan our health teacher some educational beekeeping items from her own apiary, Beyond Sweet Honey. Dr. Pitrone was also very generous in sharing several honey samples from other states that the students tasted and evaluated. Students in K-4th grades saw, touched, smelled, and tasted items from the amazing honey bee! 🐝

Health teacher, Mrs. Plendl, said it was a fun and delicious way to end our pollinator lessons. The kids loved the "crunchy" honey the most .❤️

Dr. Pitrone said she has heard great things about CLS, and Mrs. Plendl shared that several of our students go to PSJ Orthodontics for care, and were excited to learn about her passion for bees.🐝
