As you probably already realized, the Bachman Valley Half Marathon (& Relay) will not take place this year. We are hopeful for a return in 2022!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s Bachman Valley Half Marathon will be a FREE Virtual Race. There will only be a half marathon option.

You can run the half marathon distance anytime in September. Times must be entered by September 30 at 11:59pm.

Registration is open, so you can signup at https://runsignup.com/Race/MD/Anywhere/DHerlockerMemorialBachmanValleyHalfMarathon. Registration close September 15.

There will be no awards or medals this year as this is a FREE race.

Attention Racers!!!!! The photos are ready! I appreciate everyone's patience and am so excited to be getting these to you. The photos are in race order so for those who were running together or even if you know who you were near, your photos will be easier to find. I have uploaded the first 2/3 of the race and hopefully was able to get everyone at least twice if not more! I also took photos of some of you as you were coming into the finish line. These are still being edited and once done, I will add them to the gallery and send out another post. For now, please follow the link below. There is a download button for each photo....you may download as many photos are you like...after all...they are FREE!!!! I hope you enjoy!

Hi all. I’ve had a number of inquiries about race day photographs. I am in the process of editing them to give you all the best possible images I can. With over 300 participants you can imagine that there are ALOT of photos. Each runner should have multiple photos to choose from. I am so happy that you are all eager to see them as I am excited to get them to you. Once they are available I will put the link on this page. I will also have Cass send out the link via email.

Join us in running the Bachman Valley Half Marathon, a perfect 13.1-mile run along the rolling, scenic countryside of Carroll County. This race is part of the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix Series.
