An Amazing Amazon Tale:

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy a few years ago, Amazon's data centers in the Middle Atlantic region ran out of diesel fuel for their emergency generators. The cloud collapsed and millions of dollars in revenue were lost due to data outages.

MSI was approached to provide a self-contained fueling system that could operate in any weather with no electrical service and transfer filtered & metered diesel fuel to emergency generators up to 300 ft. away from the fueling system and its companion container tanks.

MSI provided a total of 24 of these trailer-mounted systems that delivered 60 gpm of fuel thru 300 ft. of 1 1/2" hose to Amazon's thirsty diesel generator sets.

Vandenberg Air Force Base is one of the Air Force Space Command's crown jewels and MSI is proud to have supplied a MARS 300 USGPM Jet Fuel Offload Skid for receipt of jet fuel for use on-base.

This system includes a multi-hose offload rack, API 610 centrifugal pump, vertical air eliminator tank w/optic level probes, vertical filter/separator and turbine flowmeter w/meter prover connections.
All functions are supervised by and XP Control Panel that is installed, pre-wired & tested prior to shipment.

MSI has recently delivered (8) of its STARCARTS to a military customer in the Middle East. These systems are designed to offload jet fuel from tank trucks into flexible pillow tanks and back again at a flowrate of 200 USGPM. The diesel engine driven
pumping system includes a filter/separator, meter & controls on a tow cart with roof & synthetic canvas cover secured by Velcro strips for protection against sand storms.
