Cash tips encouraged but not mandatory unlike your attention! Sober Refreshments AVAILABLE! Up to THIRTEEN PERFORMERS apparently! Bring your friends! Drag your situationships! Come hang out! Plot a future fandom show! Like you had other plans for your Friday night! Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. volunteer photographers and videographers welcome - in fact I’ll give you stuff if you do. WHAT IS “NOTAFLOF”???
When you see this acronym used on flyers for drag and performances, it means “No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds”.
It is a shorthand ; one meaning that we will not turn anyone away at the door for not being able to make a doors payment, as the goal of local arts should always be community and connection, not purely business. It’s often seen as more important to be able to allow people to be present in their local scene then bringing in dollars from every person. Many shows will also have pay what you can structures for this same reason, or a couple tickets set aside for community donation. Showing up is what matters.
