🦀📣 Calling all artists! 👩🏽🎨
We are on the hunt for the event logo design for the 44th Annual West Point Crab Carnival!
The theme: 🦀 Crab State of Mind: When Crabs Take Over 🦀
We believe this theme captures the spirit of West Point as more than a place - it's a feeling. The steady rhythm of a small town, the pull of the river, and the kind of lifestyle that's built around connection. Infusing fun energy and personality inspired by a way of life that's comfortable, outdoorsy, and rooted in community. It reflects West Point as a place where the river shapes the culture, where traditions run deep, and where a strong sense of community is at the heart of it all. Crab State of Mind is about owning our story - the rivers, the community, and the way of life that defines West Point.
👉🏻 Artwork submitted into the contest should be an original piece of work and should not be designed using AI designs. All ages are encouraged to enter the contest.
🎨 Accepted mediums include photography, oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels or mixed mediums. Colors should be bright or dark enough to reproduce as a print.
✨ The winner will receive bragging rights, and $200 from the West Point Crab Carnival committee.
⏱ Submissions are due by Friday, June 5th. The winner will be announced at the Summer Solstice Community Celebration on Sunday, June 21st.
