Today is the 36th anniversary of the Miracle on Ice. February 22, 1980 the US Olympic Hockey team led by Coach Herb Brooks beat the Soviets for the first time in 20 years, and then went on to win the gold medal. US goals were scored by Buzz Schneider, Mark Johnson, Mark Johnson again on a Power Play, and the game winning goal by Captain Mike Eruzione leading to a 4-3 Victory. It was also at this game where the chant USA, USA, USA, USA was initiated. The famous words of broadcaster and hockey legend Ken Dryden still ring today: Do you believe in Miracles, Yes!!!!!!!

Tomorrow being 9/11, there will be speakers who will convey their experience and thoughts as this terrible act was carried out!!!! As Patriots and Americans, it is essential that we never forget this terrible day, another day which too lives in infamy. So please, come. Snacks will be provided.
